TacEquip Refund Policy
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Non-fault refunds are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Non-Returnable Items
Bulk and custom orders are not eligible for a refund unless faults are identified. We do not accept returns on used products as we cannot verify their condition unless there is a clear manufacturing defect. This policy applies particularly to our stab protective equipment, where the integrity of the product is crucial for safety.
Return Process
To start a return, you can contact us at support@tacequip.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note that failure to report defects prior to deployment will not be accepted.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as bulk orders, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

TacEquip Stab Vest Warranty
Warranty Period: 12 months from date of purchase
Recommended replacement period: 3-5 years recommended replacement to ensure durability of protective element.
Coverage: TacEquip warrants that its stab vests will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period.
Exclusions:
- Misuse or abuse of the product
- Acceptable wear and tear (fading, scratches, minor tears, rips, or damaged zips)
- Damage caused by accidents, external factors, or use outside intended purpose
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, contact support@tacequip.com.au with proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
- Products sent for warranty claims will be inspected to determine the cause.
- If the issue is covered, TacEquip will repair or replace the product at no cost.
- If not covered, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. (For major failures under ACL, shipping costs are covered by TacEquip.)
Serial Number: Products without a serial number will have a retrospective warranty from October 1, 2024.
Australian Consumer Law:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Definitions:
- Acceptable wear and tear: Minor damage from normal use (e.g., fading, small scratches).
- Defects: Faults in materials or workmanship causing product failure.
Maintenance Requirements:
Regularly inspect and maintain the product according to TacEquip's instructions.
Warranty Transferability:
This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.
Warranty Voidance:
Any modifications or unauthorized repairs void the warranty.
Consumer Rights:
This warranty does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
